Sermorelin is a synthetic, amidated peptide consisting of 29 amino acids and corresponding to the N-terminal segment of naturally occurring human growth hormone-releasing hormone, commonly abbreviated as GHRH or GRF.
In controlled laboratory research, sermorelin has been examined for its interaction with the GHRH receptor and for receptor-mediated biochemical pathways associated with pituitary signaling and growth-hormone release.

Research involving sermorelin may include studies of peptide-receptor binding, intracellular signaling, endocrine-system models, peptide stability, and structure–activity relationships. References to bone density, scarring, dementia, seizure activity, growth, recovery, or other physiological outcomes have been omitted because they could imply therapeutic efficacy or intended human use.
Historical pharmaceutical products containing sermorelin acetate have existed, but their U.S. marketing approval was discontinued. This research material is not represented as an approved drug, is not interchangeable with any former pharmaceutical product, and has not been established as safe or effective for human or veterinary use.
Storage & handling
Before reconstitution. Keep the sealed vial cool and dark. Lyophilized peptides are stable this way for the period stated on the certificate.
Reconstitution. Add bacteriostatic water slowly against the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently to dissolve — never shake, as agitation can damage the peptide chain.
After reconstitution. Store refrigerated and use within the window appropriate for the compound under study. Do not freeze once in solution.
