Published studies have explored Selank in relation to GABAergic signaling, monoamine systems, enkephalin metabolism, cognition, behavioral stress responses, and immune-related processes. However, many reported findings come from animal studies, limited clinical investigations, or research conducted outside the United States. These findings do not establish safety, effectiveness, appropriate dosage, or suitability for administration to humans or animals.

Claims that Selank treats anxiety, depression, cognitive impairment, influenza, stress-related conditions, pain, or any other medical condition have been omitted because such statements could imply therapeutic or preventive use. References to cognitive enhancement, mental clarity, improved memory, mood regulation, or effects comparable to benzodiazepines have also been removed.

Selank is not an FDA-approved drug in the United States. FDA has stated that compounded products containing Selank acetate may present immunogenicity and peptide-impurity concerns and that it lacks sufficient safety information regarding administration to humans. FDA has also previously identified drug products compounded with Selank as ineligible for certain federal compounding exemptions.

The terms Selank, Selank acetate, and chemically modified forms such as N-acetyl Selank should not be treated as interchangeable. Sequence, salt form, terminal modifications, purity, identity, and molecular composition should be verified using batch-specific analytical documentation.

Before reconstitution. Keep the sealed vial cool and dark. Lyophilized peptides are stable this way for the period stated on the certificate.

Reconstitution. Add bacteriostatic water slowly against the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently to dissolve — never shake, as agitation can damage the peptide chain.

After reconstitution. Store refrigerated and use within the window appropriate for the compound under study. Do not freeze once in solution.
